As an accredited school, St. Casimir's School is regulated by the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA) through annual reports and a seven-year re-accreditation cycle including an onsite visit. MNSAA accreditation status provides recognized credibility and superior quality to our school program in the eyes of the public. To renew the school's accreditation status, the school must tape part in a rigorous self-study process. The results of this self study provide validation that the school has met certain basic standards and are actively seeking a quality education program. This process facilitates an intensive self-evaluation process to identify areas requiring improvement and the steps necessary to implement the improvements. It also highlights the many excellent accomplishments of the school and its students.
The Annual Progress Report requires each school to assess its strategic improvement efforts and the effectiveness of its educational programs over the preceding 12-month time period. This report provides the opportunity for the school community to evaluate the past academic year and look with purpose toward the next.
In October 2013, a team of educators visited SCS to evaluate the school's programs and compliance with MNSAA standards as part of a seven-year review cycle. The findings of their report can be be accessed by clicking this link: 2013 MNSAA Team Report. We apologize for the quality of the report as we did not receive a quality, scanned copy. In addition to the MNSAA team, the school was also evaluated by representatives of the Minnesota Catholic Education Association (MCEA) in regards to the Catholic identity of the school. The MCEA's team findings for SCS can be accessed through this link: MN Catholic Identity.
