Financial Aid

St. Casimir's School (SCS) fully supports their tuition policy which states, "No child is denied an opportunity for a quality, Catholic, value-centered education at St. Casimir's School on the basis of...lack of personal funds." Finances should never be the reason a family chooses to educate their children elsewhere.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

The most beneficial period to register your child for classes is during the spring in order to best position your child/ren for financial aid and scholarships.  Families with students enrolled at SCS have the following scholarship possibilities:

  • Seeds of Faith Scholarship:  This needs-based scholarship program is offered to all families with students enrolled in a Catholic school within the Diocese of Winona.  Families do not need to be Catholic to receive assistance.  Applications are accepted during the spring by the diocesan offices.

  • Ben Bushlack Scholarship:  This merit-based, memorial scholarship is offered by the family and friends of Ben Bushlack, a former SCS student.  The two student recipients of this annual award are nominated by the faculty and staff as students who exhibit the qualities that represent Ben's infectious personality.  The scholarship is awarded each spring and applied directly to the student's family tuition accounts the following year.

  • Our Lady of Mount Carmel/St. John The Baptist Scholarship:  Families with students attending SCS may be eligible to receive a scholarship if they are registered members of either of these tri-parish churches.  For further information, please contact your church's rectory.

SCS also provides a Tuition Assistance Program to help families who are experiencing financial difficulties.  To apply for assistance, please complete this form, Tuition Assistance Application, and submit it to the school office.  Once the form has been received, you will be contacted by the principal with further information.
